Our New Home Construction Process

Once dialed in on that vision, our team will prepare a preliminary estimate based on several factors. These include your plans, lot analysis, preferred material selections, technical specifications, and any other details specific to your project.

  2. Development phase: We’ll get to work creating formal construction plans, and subsequently fine-tuning the “Preliminary Estimate” cost-centers based on the finalized version of your plans. Additionally, you’ll visit our various design centers to make material and product selections and those selections will be reflected in the overall project job-scope description and final pricing. McKay Vassaur Custom Builders prides itself on delivering clear and thorough documentation to their Clients, and the Development Phase will culminate with presentation of a comprehensive construction packet to include the Final Plans, Line-Item Cost Detail, Detailed Specification Sheet, and a Formal Construction Contract.

  3. Construction phase: Construction commences on your new home. As experienced new home builders, our team performs quality checks and ensures that the project stays on pace and within your budget, and keeps you firmly in the loop on status.

  4. Closing and move-in phase: Your new home is move-in ready. All you need are the keys!
