West Lake Hills Texas Full Remodel

MATT & BRIANA

Matt & Briana wanted to bring their mid 90’s home into the modern day design in Davenport Ranch of Westlake Hills, Texas. Briana described the original design as ‘beige, everywhere you looked it was a creamy beige color’.

As we took the flooring up we noticed foundation surface abnormalities and level differences. We had to jackhammer everything that was there and start from ground zero. We sanded off the old monterrey drag texture, added all new painted cabinets, marble countertops, wood flooring, two fire places, “Wolf” range with wall pot-filler, customized tile designs, and customized interior trim details at the formal living room entry columns and fireplace. It’s a great example of a high-end luxury remodel!

“This was a very large and detailed remodel and Jeff was the only one brave enough to take it on after hearing all of the details and that in itself spoke volumes. The kitchen is my favorite portion of the remodel. While we gutted everything on the first floor (including the actual floor), the kitchen is where we spend a lot of time and the details in there are wonderful. Followed by the floor, which was a very thick limestone and needed to be jackhammered out, that is now a dark wood.

We started the demo 2 days before the world shut down due to Covid and Jeff never stopped pushing this project forward…. He went to bat for us when we needed it, wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, made sure subs fixed things and while it took longer than any of us expected due to the state of the world, he got it done.” ~ Briana Shepard
